Pastor Silas Dose was called into the pastoral ministry in May of 2024 after graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI, with a Masters in Divinity. His time in college and seminary developed his gifts for preaching, his knowledge of God’s Word in its original languages, and his love for all God’s people. God placed Silas in Chino Valley and Prescott to shepherd Hope and help them expand their love for God and their reach in this community.
Pastor Dose has previously served churches in Columbus, OH, and Milwaukee, WI, where he had the privilege of mentoring teens as they developed into Christian men. He is passionate about caring for all those who are lost in today’s crazy world of complex technology, identity, and ideologies. He craves leading everyone to the firm foundation of faith and identity in Christ.
Pastor Dose and his wife Laurel were married in 2021. They have an insatiable love for nature, books, board games, and their golden retriever.
