Christmas time is supposed to be a time of peace. “Peace on earth, goodwill toward mankind!” That’s what we’ve been told. But when we look around, we see anything but peace. We take note of wars. We listen to hate. We consider family break ups. We wonder, yes, we wonder, where can peace be found?

We find it in Jesus. Jesus came to this world to bring peace. His peace isn’t what the world tries to achieve or even what the world wants. Jesus was born to make peace with God. And that’s what he did when he was crucified and died. He gave God the perfect sacrifice for all who fall short of perfection. Jesus reconciled people to God. Believe it! It’s true! Then you will have real and lasting peace. You will have a peace that lasts forever.

So, PEACE ON EARTH, REALLY? Yes, REALLY! Jesus made peace for us. Please worship with us and rejoice in God’s kind of peace this Christmas season at Hope Lutheran Church!

One Church, Two Locations.

Hope is one church at two locations in Chino Valley and Prescott, Arizona. We've been in Chino Valley since 1985, and in our current Prescott facility (formerly First Evangelical Lutheran Church) since 2021, and has officially become Hope Lutheran in January, 2022.

One Jesus, Many Activities.

Our message is based only on the inspired and inerrant word of God. We proclaim Jesus Christ as the crucified and risen Savior of the world. Having ascended into heaven, he now rules over all and will come to take each believer to heaven. The love of God in Jesus Christ is the central part of every worship service, Bible study, fellowship activity, and spiritual conversation.
